Through our relationships with the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, schools and colleges across Jiangsu and international education institutions, we are able to offer two different types of teacher training opportunities.

TESOL

For those interested in learning how to become a teacher of English as a second language, we offer a 4 week TESOL course that is based here in Jiangsu, China.

Chinese Teacher Training

For those interested in being a part of the largest teacher training project in Jiangsu, and playing an integral role in the development of the province's education, we offer a 2 week Teacher Training Course.

This provides experienced international teachers with the opportunity to help train local Chinese English teachers and simultaneously gain some valuable professional development experience and absorb some of this country's fascinating culture.

Course Description
This is a fully delivered four week (220 hour) TESOL

certification, with the next intake starting on July 1st 2008. The program includes accommodation in Nanjing, resource materials, Chinese cultural modules and real classroom practice and assessments.
 

Course Outline
Teaching English to students and adult learners in

China.
 

Accreditation
This course is an equivalent level to CELTA and the

Trinity certificates. It is jointly awarded by the College of Teachers (UK), Language Training Institute, Australia, and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education.

  Together with 800 hours teaching (a one year
  contract) this certificate will allow you to teach
  ESL in China, as well as in both the UK and

Australia.
 

Job Guarantee
All teachers will be interviewed during the course by

prospective employers, with all graduating students being contracted and placed. This is a conditional guarantee on participants successfully completing the course.
