Some Tips
You will not get rich in China but you will live very comfortably.
Keep your documents for claiming airfares.

Teaching Salary
What to expect from your earnings ?

Pay in China varies depending upon your qualifications, experience and placement.  The pay here is unlikely to make you wealthy, but it is certainly enough for you to live comfortably, travel a lot, and perhaps save a little too. It should be remembered that Chinese salary levels are generally well below those of foreigners and this can sometimes cause embarrassment.

Positives

Several things should be taken into consideration when assessing pay scales here:

  • Living costs are very low

  • The government regulates salary levels

  • Overtime is often available

  • Tax is minimal, if at all
